First CSA game lasting till Fall '64

Two equal opponents and I think this is my 7th PBEM game. . . 1.1 Patch not new patch!
Ultimately I killed I believe roughly 80 Union Land units to about 50ish of my own lower 50s definitely. It did not seem to phase him. He has over 110 units and I'm down under 70(soon under 60 with the masses surrounding me) and Richmond is sacked for the 3rd time as is Nashville. I got his Fighting Spirit under 50 but it never mattered he was just a Blue Wave. In our mirror game I have so much production as the Union I am buying everything that is for sale including every Ironclad/Ship of the Line for sell Literally it's a joke at this point in the game! : shrugs : I can't find new things to buy at around the same point.
Mirror game: In that game he retains Richmond and Nashville as I do not feel I properly blockaded him as I didn't understand the mechanics as well as I do now. Even still a Blue Tidal Wave probably will wash over Richmond and a Massive invasion force under Sherman pushes into Georgia. So even mucking it up as the Union it is 'possible to win'. He has time but I am slowly trading Corps for Corps/Division for Division and they come as they die for me. He stated he had a huge surplus of Cash but I don't think he does anymore because the Union Prints over 2000 MPPs at this point per turn and full Production Tech as well. I have started researching balloons and other fancy items to see what I might find, maybe I can go to the North Pole?
The Ultimate end game I found with the South was that she can't hold her Ports they're instantly blockaded against an adept Union Player, Charleston, New Orleans were cut off in the beginning. I definitely feel that holding Richmond in 1.1 is a challenge depending on player skill. Even Nashville. The Union has a vast more amount of Corps to throw at anything.
Even if you kill nearly 2 to 1 as the South you will be just holding your own. . . in 1.1
