A couple of patches ago the effectiveness of air power was increased a bit, and too me it works very well now, just like historically if you have air power in an area you can dominate if not you get pushed around. In a couple of mirror games with fairly even matchups my opponents let their air power languish in favor of land forces and in both cases I am doing far better. Don't forget air power folks!
