Hello, I am trying to build a map from a Google Earth as base (The map is large in South America, ) and I read in some posts on this forum about the Curt Chambers, ODD (OPART Design & Debug Utility) software, that had a utility that allowed me to start the job to place the hexagon grid more easily, however I have not been able to find the software anywhere since the links are broken. Can someone send the software by placing the link?
Thank´s

I use hexthingy with Google Earth and it works really well especially for small maps. Others have used hexdraw and QGIS.
You can find links to ODD and here hexthingy:

There is also a free add-on for paint.net that will overlay hexagons on an image.
Cheers
