PLaying Allies .... Brits head East into Iraq to claim their rights ... stuck 2-3 hexes west of bagdad .... can't progress even a hex beyond this ... not sure why ?

Out of supply??? Do you have a screenshot? Do you mean you can't move them?

Is it a cooperation issue with the Russians?

That could be it. Italy is the closest to it. That bodes a problem. I need to make sure the controlling country is at war with the aggressor.

So, you are at war against Italy and Iraq. And you still can't move your UK units by one hex. Try to take the rail line north of Baghdad to improve your supply net.

Can you not move at all or you have limited move because you are out of supply?

What is the date currently of the game?

interestingly enough, in the morror game where I'm the Axis ... is Jan 42, not at war with Russia ... Noticed Norway troops not able move either in country ... seems odd

Norway troops won’t move as long as nobody declares war against them. Or, do you mean German troops in Norway?

Is limited for the units in the west, can only go west .... though My question is why aren't they repairing the rail lines and improving the supply situation ... The northern unit could not go further south by even one hex ... stopped cold ... moved it NW to see if I have better luck with that rail line ....

The unit does not seem out of supply as it as its full move. Even OOS it would have 3 (or 2?). Seems really strange...

The rail line North also seems fine and fully operational (9 supply) up to the UK unit in the North.

PS: if you hover the mouse over the hex just East of the said units (the hex they can not enter), what does is say about the hex as info?

No idea what is going on.

The rails in the north won't repair because they don't have a high supply and are not connected to other undamaged rails.

If this is a supply issue then come from the South in Kuwait or run across a mech to kill Iraq in 1-2 shots. This is a huge deseert with no highways.

But the question is....
#1 are you at war with Italy.
#2 is this a supply issue or a movement issue.
#3 what is the date?

Britain is NOT at war with Italy, but declared war on Iraq some time ago

Troops in the west extended to the 1 supply hex but would not move any further... Brigade in the North got down to the SE corner of of a 5 supply hex would not move any further, currently trying to come down the rail line slightly to the West .....

Date is Jan 30, 1942

Not sure if my situation isn't partly (or wholely) my lack of understanding the mechanics .... or not ....
