Offensive chit and invasions

I am about to do D-day in my solo game.
My question is, when I invade, can I use an Land offensive chit on an HQ in England to double the invadering factors? Or if not, can I use it if the HQ is one of the invaders? Finally, can I use the HQ ability to reorganize units across the channel if it is sitting in England?
Thank you... hate to do a whole turn and find out I cannot do what I wish to.

- A HQ in England can provide land benefits for a force invading in France. Providing that the invading units are within range of the HQ. Sea hexdots are counted normally to determine if the HQ is within range.
- An HQI can have an offensive played on it, then invade on a hex, then use its offensive capability to double itself, and then it may support any subsequently invading units within range. Note that the HQ may not provide any benefits while on the TRS (or AMPH).
-A HQ in England may not reorganize any unit across the sea.

Doubling is based on distance from the HQ. This is straight distance, and ignores everything, even neutral countries. (I guess the Swiss can't intercept the carrier pigeons carrying the orders?

)
An HQ on a TRS may double itself, but no other units. If it successfully lands, then it may double other units. I don't know if MWiF allows this, as I am not sure how late in the sequence of play MWiF lets you assign doubling.
An HQ cannot supply benefits while on a TRS. Clarification: An HQ at sea can be chosen as an offensive HQ, use that capability for its own invasion and any subsequent invasions that impulse that are within range.
The range for reorganization is the HQs reorganization value in motorized movement points, from the HQ, to the unit. Clearly, it can not trace across sea. I often get this wrong, and try to trace from the unit to the HQ, and am surprised when my unit in a mountain hex can not be reorganized.

A clarification here.
A HQ on a TRS may have an offensive played on it. But it may not double itself (or any other unit while on the TRS). However, that is not really an issue due to the play order of events. The HQI is invading the hex before the combat step where the doubling occurs.
Thus, an invading HQ is not on the TRS when the benefits of the offensive is used, and if it is on the TRS when the doubling occurs then it is not invading...
