Newbie vs Jap at Coral Sea (PBEM learning) (CLOSED)

Hi,
I'm a new player, I'd like to experience playing vs a human for the first time in WITP.
I assume not many people would see a reason in playing Coral Sea, here's mine:
- I'm a French student enjoying a summer break: I have a lot more time now than I should in about 2 weeks (so going for a grand campaign or even Guadalcanal, without really knowing how much time I can dedicate doesn't sound good to me).
- I have never played a PBEM game before, the only thing I know is that saves are sent by email (duh) but literally nothing else. Quite an important part of the game to know before playing an actual huge campaign don't you think? Not to mention getting used to the experience of playing a human player.
- Coral sea is a short scenario, thus if things don't go right because I'm too bad, or because real life changes (exactly what's going on for me), or anything else, the initial commitment would not be so important as to make it a big deal.
- I just want to start small, with a scenario that focuses entirely on fighting, to enjoy this new experience.
- I'd get to meet someone new over this relatively "chill" scenario, that's always good!
I'd like the feedback of voluntary readers on the "feasibility" of this PBEM: taking into account the amount of players who would want to play a newbie, the scenario itself, and the reasons for playing it. If it's just not really advisable to do this then I'll adapt.
Thanks for reading so far and hope to see you around!
Cheers,
Vixel
PS: I was so fixated on explaining why I'd pick such a scenario that I forgot to talk about the "conditions" lmao
- HR: Up for debate I don't really mind anything
- 1 day per turn is probably the only way to go for this scenario
- Let me know if there's anything more that needs to be discussed about the setup, I'm out of ideas
- My experience: Playing Coral sea, Guadalcanal, Marianas, Thousand Miles war, and about a month of Grand Campaign as the Allies vs Historical AI.
