Is there a ship icon color mod?

I figured there must be have not been on these boards in awhile. Be nice to just look at the map and see colors like black for tankers dark grey for surface combat etc.. you know pick your color for what mission your doing,thanks.

Technically, it would be easy to use Paint or some similar graphic program to change the inside colors of the ship icons to grey or black or whatever you want to use to show TF mission. However, because those colors are currently used to denote nationality you wouldn't be able to distinguish U.S. task forces from British or Australian or what have you. (If you are going to be using black for tankers, I assume that is going to be everybody's tankers) Plus, if your current map mod used navy-blue for sea hexes (as many do) they might be real hard to see. I suppose you could change the black outline color to a nationality color, but given how tiny these icons are, it could be difficult to read. For aging eyes that is already an issue.

ChemKid had a set that came with an alternate map.

This is a huge download on dropbox, about 2 Gigs and contains almost all of ChemKids maps.
Note that you don’t have to sign in to Dropbox. It might take over an hour to download it.
