Hey!

So, I'd like to record my gaming with OBS studio, but all I get is a black screen. I have tried a number of things, including running OBS as administrator (which was necessary for Warplan Pacific to work), but I just can't find a way to capture the screen and record game play.

Any recommendations to help me fix my problem would be appreciated!

I believe you need to set the capture to the entire screen area, and not the game window as the target. Hopefully this makes sense and will work for you?

One thing you could also try is setting the game to run at the maximum size for your display area, but with Full Screen turned off to see if that helps as well.

Yep, screen capture is always an option.

That seems like it would work as well, I'll check it out.

Gave that a try running OBS with and without playing as Administrator, and it didn't work for game capture.

So screen capture, it is.
