Country Switches

I am trying to make a scenario where Poland is not a great power, but a minor ally of Germany
They have conceded the Danzig Corridor, and are at war with Russia
However,
The game makes German territory Italian, and Polish territory German!
How do I stop this from happening?
It has happened more then once....

Hi Eric,

In order to rearrange Majors you first need to go to Campaign->Edit Major Country IDs Data, including assigning the correct graphical folder to each Major. This may have been misconfigured when you removed Poland, but can be re-assigned as needed in the Edit Major Country IDs Data screen under 'Set Display Source'

Then ensure all is set correct by verifying in Campaign->Edit Country Data that the appropriate Majors are still set to the appropriate Axis or Allied side and so on.

If it is all a mess then there is the likelyhood that something went wrong with the process of removing Poland as a Major, or just that some adjustments need to be made.

But hopefully this bit of info helps, and if not let us know,
Hubert

And so further work on this scenario,
It wants me to put capital in Indochina?
It's not even in the game!

I do t know anything about modding, but if you check the base game in the far northwest corner there is a 'Capital'. I believe that is what you need to add or put back.

There must be some territory assigned to Indochina somewhere on the map, and every country has to have an associated capital.

Changing who the territory belongs to, i.e. setting it to belong to a country with a capital, should fix it.
