How to get Beta patches for Shadow Empires on GOG?

As stated in the headline, I bought this on GOG when they were having an incredible sale, but now, unlike Steam users, I am unable to download beta patches. Any ideas- other than I should have bought the game on Steam? Thanks

Buying on Matrix & receiving a free Steam key is best. imho

Another GOG purchaser here, I am also interested in getting beta patches.
To the developer: you have a truly unique game here, so please keep patches available to all your customers.

Ditto, I shouldn't be penalized for buying something legitimately on Gog.
