How much time do you devote averagely to perform a Russian turn, in the '41 Grand Campaign - past the first 3 turns.
The first turns usually demand more due to player-reorganization business, moving SU around, etcetera.
Hence I consider them some special monster on the side and not in function of the poll!

I spend 2-3 hours on both sides, but I use a lot of automation through the commander's report and never manually allocate support units.

I only played in 4x4 games vs humans, so no idea about a full turn (vs AI is quicker because you do not worry about them).
But for our team:
* 1h looking at map/reports/battles
* 2h talking about the turn plan
* 3-5h moving my fronts
* 1h organising reserves/refits

A full turn would probably clock way above 10h for me.

2-3 hours for aviation and another 2-3 hours for land.

During the 41 retreat about 6 hours.

Once the line stabilises about 3-4.

If I put down the amount of time I put into turns, especially the early turns, it would make your head explode. Lets just say 10 hours does not scratch the surface. BUT I love games like this.

I am in the 4 to 5 hours league - I think that is a good allocation of time, but no matter what I cannot simply sink excess of time in turns as my game perception starts to twist and spin into chore.

The game needs a pacing in general - exactly as when playing PvP I'd expect decently paced turns too. But that is not relevant to hours per turn!

Someone should make a house rule that the soviets have a time limit to do their turns until October. Would be fun to see to simulate the chaos and confusion of the early phases of the war
