I have been looking for a way to set the default stance on combat ships, but there doesn't seem to be any entry for this in the XML files. I know I can change this for the fleet templates, but what I do want is to change it for the ship themselves...

What do you mean by "ship stance" ? (I'm no native English speaker - so may be a language problem (?))

I am not a native english speaker either

. What I mean is the ship default behavior we can set during design. Things like when they retreat or how close they get to their target. We can set it easily for fleet, but I didn't find any way to do the same for ship design.
