Suggest changing the location of tooltips to be presented away from the interface being inspected because they obstruct the user from seeing the interface clearly.

e.g. general settings popup window is confined to a central portion of the visible screen with large darkened areas to each side, yet tooltips popup on mouseover of general settings interface elements obscuring text and buttons elswhere on the interface which is necessary to scroll the interface.

Some of the tooltips are quite large and this makes it difficult to navigate the interface and find what you are looking for. If the tooltips were projected to either side of the interface then the user would be able to see the interface without interruption and navigate the interface to select appropriate elements unimpeded.

This would make better and more ergonomic use of the available display area.

+1, good idea. It always is a pain. I would love to have an option to disable it and such also.

When tooltips hide what you want to see or make it impossible to click on what you want to click, they're extremely annoying! Especially when you don't need the infos they're showing. And DW2 is full of such tooltips!

Moving them away from where the mouse pointer is would help. But I'd like to have the possibility of showing them only when a certain key is pressed, for instance ALT. That would improve the game experience so much!

Or F1, or make it bindable to a key.
I always rebind F1 from Galactopedia to Message Log. I am glad that is possible.
