[NEW PERKS!] A SE community Wishlist!

Hello guys,

I was messing with modding, especially for PERKS, and while writing down ideas and documentation, I asked myself: "Why keep this private? I am not even sure to find time to mod this myself". Then I remembered the Dominions community wish-list which worked very well, so I propose you something similar: a thread and a document to list all ideas about NEW PERKS! you would like to see in ou great Shadow Empire game!

Let's gather and discuss NEW PERKS! ideas from the community.
Let's add more variety and interesting new PERKS!

Purpose and objectives:
  • Ideally help Vic include some new interesting PERKS suggested by the community
  • or/and help modder(s) to turn some of these ideas into a Mod!
Don’t hesitate to share your ideas in this topic, I will then add them in the list or consolidate some ideas from discussions (I'll add more rights to modify the document to others active and known members later, let's start progressively and see how it turns).
You can also comment directly inside the document
I already added some generic ideas, just to help start the brainstorming. You can also check some existing variables in the complementary tabs to help you understand what is possible to do.

Great idea Pymous, & should be interesting to follow while, maybe, even being able to contribute.

Hello Pymous,

I greatly appreciate your engagement and vigour to improve Shadow Empire. (Great mod, thank you)

I think purely negative hex perks wouldn't work you would have to combine them with a significant positve effect.
For the same reason regime perks don't work either. You wouldn't take these miserable hexes that would only spell doom for your glorious country.

My wish for new hexes would be vaults. They are only generated with bigger colony size and trigger after a random time to unleash mutants/robots/spiders/city/loot box. So you would station guards to secure your rear for the worst case.

Other hex perks I would like are just ancient buildings in disrepair that you can fix or dismantle. Perhaps an advanced airbase or industry building.

What really would be cool would be temporary hex perks that could supply the event generated troops like the adventurers or rebels.

Another idea would be a hex perk that would allow you to build a limited amount of a unit that is special (automatic perfect design (Elite unit) or something else (exclusive,not researchable)).

Just some ideas. What perks did you envision?
