With Amazon Prime Video's Rings of Power now available I was casting around for a LOTR scenario for TOAW IV.

I couldn't find any that had already been converted so I skimmed through the Mega Pack from Alternate Wars site and found The War Of The Last Alliance. I opened it in the TOAW IV editor and saved it. When I played it I got an error about a wrong eqp file so I saved it again. Elves were using AK-47s but now they seem to using what you would expect. There are some anomalies still as you might see "common equipment 1940s".

I don't know if the scenario was like this when it was made for TOAW III or an artefact of the conversion to TOAW IV. Either way, the scenario opens and is playable in IV.

I am not the scenario designer. I just ran the scenario through the editor.

This scenario has no PO (AI).

I just finished an PBEM of this. Its not perfect but its fun.

I never tried it PO and it doesn't look like there is one.

Irritatingly I don't think there is any PO. I assumed there was when I converted it but on closer inspection there doesn't seem to be.

I've just checked the other LOTR scenarios in the Alternate Wars scenario archive and from what I can glean all of the other old LOTR scenarios are PBEM only.
