I killed around 4.500 planes on T001 but I have used only the auto-intercept and zero airfield attack

Typically, I get just under 4000 at the opening then another 1500 during the turn. total is right around 5,500.

Curious how many German planes are lost in the process of this on the first turn too. Thank you in advance.

I lose around 400. in my next game i expect it to be closer to 300 as I will not use much if any GS. sometimes I get a little forgetful and have GS on when i really don't need it.

I just opened up the C41 on version .45 and using the default Air Directives, but deactivating the Recon missions (I created the default AD for C41 along with Joel) and prior to moving any ground unit the first turn air strikes yielded 76 lost German air frames (of which 3 were fighters, 18 FB and 52 level bombers with a total of 39 pilots KIA) and 3,519 Soviet air frames (756 KIA, with 531 fighters, 1,683 FBs, 335 tac bombers and 812 level bombers).



Usually another 1,000 to 1,500 Soviet planes will perish during ground movement.

I use the air assistant and can consistently achieve 6000 soviets killed

I thought you'd achieve over 9000.

This is the best I've done and I don't use it. I backed off ground kills to get more pilot kills during action phase.
