Mod resources? Sprites, Guides, templates.

Hello everyone :).

I was wondering what sort of mod resources are available for the game.

Are there guides to modding, how to, event scripting, or tables/explanations of what certain changes do (such as combat stats etc)? Guides to tips and tricks and good shortcuts?

Are there repositories of sprites, or other such resources available? Any guides on how to implement them?

"Blank" or basic maps without units added, or alternate maps in size and such?

Thank you in advance for any tips or replies. I tried searching the forum but came up blank (admittedly not great at searching). If we could create a list of resources that may greatly help modders in the future! :)

Outside the Manual, I'm not sure that there is much.

The best way to learn/test things out is to make a small campaign with just a few units and to try out whatever it is you're thinking of experimenting with. If it has a small map then it will load up quickly, and so it's easy to tweak something, start a game in Hotseat, see its impact, revise and repeat until you get the settings right for what you're after.

The same principle applies to writing scripts.
