Mod Updated:
The mod is updated to implement the new lever +3 +4 infantry and cavalry equipment. ( cav 4 is now implementes)

New BritishTroops Design


This mod was designed to add extra design flavor to the game.


Inspiration came from Blue Max Mod for SC WW1 and Iron cross mod for SCWW2.
The units icon for NATO counters was based on the Ageod ACW design. The ship icons are my own design. I use the silhouette of historical ships. The up-to-date design is for CSA, Union and Indian Tribes. I will try to update the mod with term counters for other major nations.

I did some change in the interface and in the background screens. Most of the arts came from famous painters of the Civil War Conflict. Dan Gallon, Mort Kunstler, Don Troiani, John Paul Strain among the least.

I selected a certain number of screens for both Confederate and unions. The game does not seems to display more than ten mods. So if you download all the screens plus the mods they will appear in alphabetcial order. You need to be sure to have installed in your game directory.

Once done you have potentially if no other mods installed 7 screens available.
I did not found a solution to have all the screens displayed in the mod selection.

Awsome Mod..But Im missed the scoll out counters (pics).. they are still the ones from stock game

how can I obtain the counters shown here? have down loaded the mod properly into the mod folder but counters are simple nato symbols. ty 4 ur help

sorry to raise the question again. Following your prompt answer I have installed the mod into the community pack / mod folder but my attempt to obtain the beautiful counters you show in your images with detailed uniforms and ships was unsoccessful and the game continues to show simple nato symbols. . ty 4 ur help

Yes there is just pick and choose the art you want and delete the art you do not want. Or cut out to put in your own separate mod.

This is the mod I was waiting for. Blue Max was such a great mod that it made me buy the SC WW1 game.

Are you also having similar animations like BM mod? Are you also planning to change the map to BM artstyle?

It helps a lot in the visibility of the units and places and makes the game more aesthetically pleasing.

It's an art mod. It doesn't change any code or how the game plays.
