Twelve A-6's loaded with MK-84's assigned to alpha strike.
Flight Size = 1

Some aircraft will continuously circle the target without dropping their bombs. Have to manually change their altitude to a safe AGL altitude (2000ft).

I assume you mean 1278.1.

This has something to do with a target and IP being designated and then the target being destroyed by a flight right in front of the wayward unit. The flights automatically come up to release altitude and then dive when the target is destoned. But if the target is destroyed while a flight is past the IP (my best guess), the wayward flight drops to the deck and never comes back up high enough to ever release its bombs.

There are two workarounds that I found.

1) Don't use individual flights
3) Set the target egress altitude above minimum release altitude.

I think WRA might also solve this by making sure targets get distributed better.
