A bit pricy but interesting
“Modern Chinese Maritime Forces”—1 October 2022 ed.—Order of Battle for World’s Largest #s of Navy & Coast Guard & Maritime Militia Ships

The .pdf version is a living document, updated quarterly (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1 of each year) with new drawings, commissionings, decommissionings, new ship data, as it becomes available.
Single purchase includes access to future periodic updates of the volume.

I own it. Its OK. I haven't seen many updates, but haven't looked recently. There's not a lot of detail on the ships.

I found this book a much greater value and it has a lot more detail on each ship. Not in PDF yet, but will be.
