What will be his supply in and supply distribution?

In 0 out 3, but maybe there's tech (logistics) which increases that. Not 100% sure anymore. Btw, here's the ultimate thread for all supply questions:

If the Japanese have logistics level 5 would his supply show as 0 (5)?

I dimly remember having read something along those lines some time ago, but I never actually tried it out.

It used to be in the command and control text when selecting it on the research panel where the minimum C&C level was the minimum supply distribution. I think this actually got changed with the new supply changes though and there was a patch note.

Tooltip for logistics still says that logistics level=minimum HQ supply distribution however...

That is correct, it's tied to Logistics research and so if they are at level 5 then their supply distribution value = 5.

I couldn't work out how his supply was 4 (6)

(note he was strength 10 at the start of the turn)
