This is the 2nd time this has happened in a game. If you save the game anytime after Vichy the save cannot be reloaded. It just stops responding. The only way to get the game to load was go back to a previous version. Attached is the Vichy declaration save, you can add any numbers you like however the Vichy Territory rolls were 9 2 5 2 7 3 7 10 6 and Cameroon was chosen as the capital.

Ignore that, I have the beta version V04.04.01.00 so it's interesting it works for you.

Try this save, think I send the wrong save. I originally posted the save I used in a previous version while testing.

I download this file, was able to load with MWIF version 4.4.1 (debug). I then declared Vichy and went through all that that entailed until the factory destruction phase at which point I saved the game. I was then able to reload without any problem.

I do have questions:

(1) Did your trouble reloading occur with the file you attached?

(2) If not, then did you go all the way through the Vichy process until the factory destruction phase before saving and then trying to reload?

Yes the trouble occurred with the file attached. I am able to load this file to do Vichy. If I use exactly the same die rolls and make the same choices in regards to units removed I cannot load the game from a save after that. However after seeing what you guys have been able to do, I did a few things different, chose a different home country other than Cameroon and also chose different units to remove from the game and I am able to load from a save after this. What this says to me is that it can't be replicated unless the same rolls, the same removed units and same home country are selected.

I just tried the save posted and I cant reproduce this bug either. If you can still reproduce the bug, then your going to have to provide the precise detailed steps that cause the issue.

If Steve can't repeat the bug there is little chance he can fix it.

Well I just realized that I have been playing with v4.4.0.1 (Debug) not 4.4.1 (Debug) so it's pointless to try and search for any issues with this save.
