I note that there are certain loadouts that are marked as "Day only".

However, I have no problem using them quite effectively at night. Is the day/night feature of ordinance implemented?

My understanding is that the day/night and weather limitations were never added to the game. Sometimes the DB gets updated to support a planned feature, and then it takes a while for the corresponding game mechanics to be implemented. Quite a while, in this case (this might even date back to CMANO, I don't remember exactly). If you check the scenario features/settings tab in the editor, you'll see that there's also an unclickable option to enable weather/daylight effects on sorties, presumably also in support of this as yet unimplemented feature.

Of course, nothing's stopping you from abiding by the limitations anyway, even if the game won't compel you to.

From my personal experience with the game , it's very difficult to successfully use day-only loadouts during night anyway. Day-only weapons such as iron bombs are completely ineffective in the night.
