Is there a way to get rid of announcement threads?

None of them are related to the forum, but marketing announcements for individual games. And they take up my whole phone screen.

Agreed, I wouldn't mind seeing a pass at layout on some games. On the game section I most frequent there is :

13 SubForums (with SubForums that are not displayed unless you open the SubForum)
11 Matrix Announcements
20 Pinned Topics
10 Regular Topics

A minimise the heading option would be a great improvement.
