Japan vs China

While I think the China theater plays fairly well but Looking at the historical data it appears that China lost massive amounts of soldiers... well civilians too but for this discussion looking at military losses theirs were about twice what Japans were, pretty similar to the eastern front in Europe, however in the game Japans losses are usually twice that of Chinas, so basically, flipped. I wonder if China almost needs to have worse units but more of them?

Possible. That scenario wasn't tested much by the testers. It wasn't the main scenario.
Recently a Steam buyer put a negative review solely based on the free China scenario. I thought it was funny.

A concern might be the amount of territory that the Chinese have available for placing units.
In the North they have room for more units but in the south it is pretty packed.
Easier to destroy units would cause an issue where the Japanese can advance more quickly.
THOUGH not entirely historically accurate it works okay, though I think the Chinese are too weak to hold out now.
More units might slow down the Japanese but if they are easier to kill they might speed up the Japanese advance in the south.

In this thread I was talking about the main game but China/Japan forces/casualties. that is silly someone would judge game based on that scenario!

Sometimes I get silly reviews.
Reviews like "just doesn't thrill me" or "not enough detail" or "I don't like the mechanics" or "too complicated" I can understand.
