Why don't you add an ELO Match as an option for hosting an online challenge (making it clear to the players that this is considered a ranked match), and let the GAME track the matches, and victories. ALL of this could be automated and reported monthly, quarterly and/or annually via e-mail or an online report card.

This could be MUCH easier than the manual method currently in place. After all, it is 2022.

It would also be great to post the Player's Rank on their hosting challenge, so the opponent knows what he is getting into.

Thanks for the feedback and from what I understand these kinds of things are all being looked into and considered with the PBEM++ setup, just can't speak for when and if they might indeed become options just yet.

Great! Thanks for the quick response. I think the ELO option will make the game much more interesting and your PBEM community will grow and/or retain interest.

It would also be very helpful if you can set an expierence level for a PBEM game (beginner, advanced expert) in the PBEM lobby so players on the same level can join more easily. A comment field would also do this.

Playing the ELO games has made me a better player and put new life into the game for me.... just saying...

I am very competitive by nature

These are great ideas... Joining a random game vs an opponent that is inexperienced if painful. I would much rather play someone that can teach me moves that win games.

Love this game!
