What are good results for Supplies Tons Received vs. Requested?

I play the grand campaign as Axis against Soviet AI. I play to win by the Turn 16 VP check. So, I have to push all my units very hard, and the mobile units are typically always well away from rail linked depots. I also keep all the air forces on the map. Below are the supply tons received verses requested from each turn summary from turn 2 to 14 from my last game. I was wondering if anyone has any insight on what good received verses requested ratios should be?

T2 T3 T4 T5 T6 T7 T8 T9 T10 T11 T12 T13 T14
Rec. 26.6 33.9 28.6 29.2 29.6 31 28.2 25.1 21.1 23.1 21.5 22.8 16.7
Req. 18.6 32.4 36.5 45.5 49.3 52.9 53.7 55.3 57.3 56.6 59.3 60.4 58.8
143% 105% 78% 64% 60.0% 59% 52% 45% 37% 41% 36% 38% 28.4%

Ugh sorry about the table spacing. I had it spaced correctly when I typed the post. Don't know why it bunched it all up.

From my recent game versus Vet ;)

Gunning for Leningrad following some great rail captures during t1-4 in the Baltics really helped my supply situation. That plus limited advances elsewhere (I scarcely got past Smolensk in '41 and didn't take Kharkov and Stalino).

And trucks, ah that's a different story. They got butchered in all the difficult terrain and inclement weather.

Great ratios. Your supply need is very low. Did you move the air forces to the reserves or do anything else that reduced the requested supplies.

Yes, level bombers went back to Germany. Fighters and recon remained.

Once you start to develop a deficit, your 'required' level begins to grow to make up the difference. My strategy in that game was ahistorical and it paid off in the impact of supply, and ultimately the result.

Managing your supply is important. Don't pile out large quantities of troops at the far end of your supply network unnecessarily. You don't need to given the powerful units at the Axis's disposal. I held back a corps or two in Poland, before eventually slowly railing them to the front

I forgot that the supply need is cumulative. I play the game to win by T16 so it is tough to hold back. To get enough VPs by t16 you have to keep pushing. I have some self-imposed house rules that make the game harder than normal as well. So, I have to push all the units as hard as possible. There are a couple of 1 turn pauses I can do with the Panzer Armies that may help and I might think twice about bringing up the early reinforcements immediately into teh fight.

It looks like my received is OK as compared to your results so I am guessing that I am doing OK. thanks
