subs can't move with other ships error

If subs can only move with other subs why are they automatically grouped with other naval units? I get this error again and again and then it deselects the naval stack, etc. Hopefully this UI issue can be fixed in next patch.

They can group in port.

Yes but it is a pain when you have 20+ ships in port...
Some are subs / Patrol craft and you have to deselect all then select one at at time.
So there is select all or select none...
COULD options be added that it would be...
Select All Surface
Select None
Select All Sub
Select All Patrol

Or just keep subs in a separate stack by default

Left to right select all.... patrol groups, subs, carrier and surface, none

Not really - this still requires pushing three buttons for each move - why do you group subs with other naval units they can't move with?

They are still all naval groups.
