Kinda OT Thank you

Cap’n Darwin and team - I’m 67, was a US Army buck Sgt over in Germany 1976-1978, and as life goes have fallen on some tough medical issues last two years. Two failed cervical spine fusions and a heart attack paled in comparison to really bad Covid in June. I survived long coma and all the horrible etc., then rehab where I’ve learned to walk and talk again, and am home now and can drive to church but often forget where I am and have cognitive difficulties along with all the medical aftermath. Remember every bit of Bible from last 50 years but huge holes otherwise.
So thank you, your game in my state is a God send. Medicine. Light in my dark. Perfect timing. Came home in agony from a surgical procedure this morning. Prayed for something to change, get me busy analytically/cognitively above the pain and all. Rested.
Got online and there your beautiful work was. Spotty memories of my great time in Germany in our great US Army back then when things were hot returned. Got it plus hard copy manual. Have all the great pieces of documentation on my iPad mini now to read and study as I learn your work of art. Bought a few WW III novels on Kindle even! And now in addition to practicing my faith and my physical therapy, I get to exercise my mind, my cognition. My day has widened, brightened. Because of you.
Guys, I’m excited about a war game again. Along with a lot, I lost that. Man, that hurt. But I feel it’s coming back…
So again, thank you. Your hard work and wonderfully creative talents affect and bless in deeper ways than perhaps you realize. Sorry, I did not intend to play a violin. I just wanted to thank you for giving me some joy, something to get up in the morning for, put some coffee on for.
I hope you understand, and pray for blessings for you and your families commensurate with all the good and blessed fruit your craft gives us all.
Michael
