How do objective control work ?

Hello,
Just got this situation I don't understand playing tutorial 2.
At the end of the game, the hidden 1.500 VP WP objective "pass to Warsaw Pact". No one seems to have any unit near enough to influence control. As far as I remember, no WP ground unit came near during gameplay, only Hinds (and they died from SAMs).
Why do WP gain this VP ?

We are looking into that a possible bug. I had thought originally it was a recon that got it and then backed off, but a few players like yourself see it revert control when it should stay NATO at 0 points or contested with no awards to either side.

Not to labour the point but I too have experienced this issue.
Very confident enemy units did not take the point.

We are looking into this, and I believe it is a bug with the split VP that we missed in testing. William is on it, and hopefully, we can resolve this quickly.
