In the german turn, poor 4th Mechanized seems to suffer crippling losses while being used by the SS panzers troops as crash dummy and retreating 4 hexes ...

But this is how I found the same unit at the beginning of my turn.... I was used to think that now you had to be on refit and on a depot to receive such kinf of replacements..... any ideas of what could happend here?

it is even more hilarious that this unit is assigned to a front and not to an army

sadly I did not have the detail accesible now, it is a server PBEM game and we moved already forward

If there is local supply and there is enough manpower/ground elements in the active pool, units will still get a lot of reinforcements even if not in refit. You see this in the first turn as societs where ~400k of manpower is sent into Soviet units (and supply isn’t even great on t1)
