Have any problems been reported with WitE2 multiplayer system? Recently, I posted 2 challenges (non password protected) Both were accepted. In this case, my opponent played first. In both cases the opponent failed to complete even the first turn, and after several weeks I received an email message that the game was over. The first time I just thought the player decided not to play. When it happened a 2nd time I began to wonder if there was a problem, such as the server not accepting an end turn selection by the player. Any thoughts on this? I’ve been playing against the AI without issues.

I haven't heard of any problems. I can see there are games starting ok every day, and plenty of active games on the server. Games that are abandoned are eventually automatically closed down, although I don't remember how many weeks it takes before that happens. Did you ever get the email or forum name of the players you were playing against so you can contact them? You might want to post in the opponents wanted area so you know who you're playing, or add a message to your note to have people email you or PM you if they accept your game. Good luck.
