1938 Saut du Loup

1938 Saut du Loup (translates to Leap of the Wolf) is designed as a short scenario specifically for play against the PO. It is in the “Capture the Flag” style and uses randomization of objectives and formations to make each game a bit different. Depending on which objectives and units are selected the individual game may be easy to nearly impossible to win. The intent is to provide a scenario high level in variability and re-play value.

This is a hypothetical scenario designed to present the player(s) with a tactical military problem. Conflict is centered on the town of Saut du Loup with both sides engaged in establishing control of the town by destruction of the enemy corps headquarters.
The scenario is designed to be played against the PO opponent (from either side) and in the PBM Cheyenne mode. In the PO mode the player has the option to use a Theater Option which gives the PO two additional infantry formations programed to defend approaches to the PO’s corps headquarters.
