Why does this "console" thing keep coming up when I am typing a message to my opponent? I have to restart the game to get rid of it. What does it even do?

Hit the ' key to make it go away, when you type don't, can't anything with a ' will bring up the console. Was driving me nuts as a lot of my pbem messages were getting cut off. No idea what its for.

Many thanks...seems like a poor choice of key strokes to get it to come up. Wish the devs would chime in even if just to say "are aware of it" :-\
