Probably i have understood nothing about this complex game but in the scenario Road to Leningrad seem impossible to win with the German. Also even making a run to capture Pskov the German ends up with low CV against an impossible Russian CV of some unit. With so low number of unit seem impossible to organize an encirclement and the Russian is able to organize a strong defensive line. Some one have the solution?

There are some AARs on the Road to Leningrad Scenario. The following is the result of a search of the word "Leningrad" on topics in the AAR forum. You may wish to draw reference from them.

With a competent game for the Germans, everything is possible. The Russians also have few troops. If you can encircle and destroy a lot of Russian troops at the beginning of the game, then they will no longer be able to organize a dense defense, especially if they do not retreat in time.

I don't see so few Russian troops. What discourages me is the ratio in the combat (see the picture of my turn 7).The Russian have a too strong value in defence.

If this is a turn 7 card, then you were moving too slowly and gave the enemy time to gather strength. When playing as Germany, the Soviets cannot be allowed to gain strength. You must move as quickly as possible and not give the enemy time to dig in. You should take Pskov and go to Luga already at turn 3-4 of the game.

This is how my game against AI looked like at turn 7.

I still don't understand,i have moved my unit at max possibility.Only in turn 6 i had a stop near Pskov due to the strong defence line of the Russian and due to the reconnection of the 2 inf.attached to the panzer division.
I'm playng WITE2 and the North front seem more difficult compared to Barbarossa of WITE1.
Anyway thank you for your replay,is better if i study some AAR (assuming I can find them).

Differently from me seem that you can go where you want.Surprised by the low quantity of Russian units ,but play you with fog of war?

I played that one many times when the game came out.
I found it hard, but with less experience than now. The terrain is rather easy until you hit PSKOV.
Also, you need to be careful of the Reds cutting your carefully building supply line, and they will. It is not that it is so hard to go back and deal with it --- more the time it costs. I have found with WITW and WITE-2 most scenarios are intolerant of mistakes. Typically, you are not going to log a major victory at the 80% turn mark ... it is going down to the wire. So, mistakes are very punishing.
Of course, there are "real men" PBEM players that will win on Turn #3 or #4 lurking around here.

I always play with the Fog of War. I have been playing this game for a very long time!
