Love the game, think you've done a great job especially of the scenarios and am looking forward to putting a scenario together. To that end was wondering whether you've got a backstory to the day to day, or even hour to hour, campaign movements across southern Germany and if you'd be willing to share it.

The story behind the scenarios and campaigns is Joao Lima's. Joao authored the bulk of the scenarios. See this thread for more info:

Thanks but was asking more in relation to the day by day, hour by hour divisional movements and flashpoints rather than the general background and causes of war.

In short, there is no 'ready for release' fiction document. Having said that, if you follow the scenarios in chronological order, the intros paint the picture of the war, including the movements of the units involved in the scenarios. It paints an overall picture up to the date of the last scenario in the game.
Is there any particular unit / area / time that you were looking for specific info?

Hi,
I suppose my interest comes from how involved and carefully thought out the scenarios are and my desire to piggyback on to that by creating a scenario or two allied to the existing story arc and events. At the same time not creating something entirely contradictory story wise.
Would love if there was a map with timeline as that would make things easier to understand and allow me to follow and maybe expand events with scenarios, counterattacks against main and ancillary thrust lines, air assault, airborne drop interdictions, ancillary events such as Czech movements through north west Austria, that kind of thing. It would be nice to use the French a bit more as well, but i'd imagine you have plans for that.
I can create my own map based on your chronological order and am happy to do so, but I wanted to ask you guys first if you've any resources, ideas or plans you think might prove useful to us external scenario builders.
Cheers
Daniel

Daniel, Have you reviewed the Southern Storm Operational Area Guides? There is one with maps, one with Scenario/Campaign summaries, and one on equipment and nations involved. Those might help you construct a better-timed narrative.

Hi, I have now and put together a map. It's easier to visualise scenario opportunities now so all good.
Cheers Daniel
