Naval Exploit

I moved the naval units out of Leningrad before it fell to Axis. For the last numer of turns the surface units and the sub have been sitting in the Baltic out of supply with the red dot showing. A few turns ago I built a couple of supply oilers one of which was ready for deployment this turn so I supplied the surface ships. Next turn I have another supply oiler ready so I could then supply the sub. I only did it because I was wondering what would happen but seems totally unrealistic since the Soviets don't have any ports in the Baltic.
In our next game we will have a house rule that you cannot supply with oilers unless you have a friendly port in the sea/ocean but just wanted to bring it to your attention.

There is already a correction in the pipe for port supply in the Baltic Sea:

ADDED Allies may only draw supply from Baltic Sea Ports in Germany and the Baltic States if they control either Helsinki or Copenhagen

Not sure an event could correct this as well because we need to think of the Black Sea. On a side note, usually I am destroying the Leningrad fleet quite easily with sea and air power.

Another solution is to prevent USSR to buy Supply Oiler by events but I really don't like it.

This is something that really can't be adjusted. Likely I will remove oilers from WP2 as they have created more problems than features. This is due to the change in how effectiveness works for ships.

Not with the effectiveness reduction for staying out at sea.

Well it kind of answers a question I had about them.

In WPP they just extend supply reserves but not effectiveness, so i was not sure what they were for since by the time one might need them after the third turn at sea, the effectiveness of the fleet at sea would be so low, that it would usually be a very bad idea to stay at sea!
