Bacon + Retreat UE trouble

Hello, I want to start a thread today about an issue I've been having with the retreat ue bacon combo. So, I've been using bacon 1.82 for a really long time but I could never fix this one issue that bugs 4 alien races when I enable Retreat UE with bacon. The races seem to both work fine when the mods are separated which I've tested multiple times. The bug; Sulkens, Gizureans, Dhayuts, and Boskarans all build ships with the wrong ship design assets (ship images from other factions), they do not purchase these ships and I have screenshots of them being built in the spaceports. Strangely it usually takes a while for them to start doing this but after speeding the game up 4x for a month or 2 they begin to build them (Ship design assets don't even have to be of factions in the game). This bug is more interesting to me now that I've begun making my own mod, and with my improved understanding of the txt files, I still have not yet gotten rid of it. Screenshot's & save games will come I assure you. But first.
I'll clue you in on what's confusing me the most, from my understanding ship family images are designated in the "races" folder where each race has its own txt with a "DesignsPictureFamilyIndex;" line. All I should have to do to fix the problem is simply input the family number of the ship designs into the "DesignsPictureFamilyIndex;" line. Let's use Dhayuts as an example, they are family3, therefore "DesignsPictureFamilyIndex;3" should restrict the Dhayuts to only using those images right? Wrong, after doing this multiple times the problem persists. This isn't the only fix I've thought up, I could explore more in this post. But that's too much for me right now. Here is a screenshot that illustrates the Dhayut problem. Remember there are 4 other races that behave in the same way and have been tested to have this issue. PS The unusual ships in the Dhayut family have red herrings, they make no difference, the boskarans for example have none while suffering the bug, while other races have them and show no signs of the bug. PSS There is a hint in the screenshot for how I tried to solve the problem by other means, it was totally useless.
