Bombur mod

New version for Bombur mod in the VR designs site
We did quite a few changes in the logistic and naval warfare system
Now amphibious disembarks and carrier aircraft operations will cost AP.
Ships are much more expensive.

Of course you do, and also modify it freely for your scenario.
This mod actually is better for scenario creation than to play random maps, for a series of reasons.
So, more people want to use it as a master filer, the better.

Decreased cost for cargoships
Players now can get resources back by disbanding units

I've always loved the detail in your mod. I tried enabling leaders and action cards but it doesn't seem to work. I get the button to create an HQ with a leader but the leader does not appear. Is there a coding reason they don't work with your mod? I may have missed an enable somewhere in master file.

I love the detail too.

So much so that most of it is included in GD1938v3. There I made officers too. You have to design them before they can get into a game. That requires either copying a lot of code from the original officers in A New Dawn, and living with the graphics of those, or making your own. I chose the second route.

I didn´t implement officers, yet.... maybe it´s time to consider to add them. The big trouble is that this mod was built using older versions of the masterfile.

Question: How to deal with the overbuilding of factories by the AI? While it´s usful to balance the game in short term, when we have long scenarios, it´simply impossible to deal with a AI that builds factories everywhere. I have an idea... I think...

You can make it slower to build them, by editing their code. That would be one way.

Version 2.00 in the VR site
It adds more custom artillery and allows you to choose people and southern zones climates, by creating a random Phoenix game.
Next steps
I plan to create colonial people´s and regimes, it will allow to make both colonial wars and national liberation wars
