Hi guys,

sometimes at the end of a turn the error "Your current turn has been lost" shows up. (A connection error?)
Especially when playing a large scenario this is somewhat unsettling.

The error shows sometimes up even after repetetion of the turn.

Any chance to avoid this?

To verify. Are you playing PBEM? What scenario? What game version? What OS? Thanks.

I cannot save my turn either in PBEM++. I think the servers are broken again.

Yes, we are playing it PBEM++.

Scenario was "The Long Night". After playing turn 20 something as the NATO player, when I finished my turn, the problem popped up. Error "Your current turn has been lost". The programm gave the hint to redo the turn, but this didn´t help. After finishing the redone turn, the same error came up. So, the game is basically lost since it can´t be finished.It wasn´t the first time we ran into this error. It seems to show up when playing large scenarios.

Here are some screenshots (from top to bottom). They are numbered in the order they appeared.

I´m using the current version 2.1.0.6819

OS is Windows 10 with the following specs (see screenshot).

Looks like the problem is selective.

I managed to upload my turn against DaShox in "The Squeeze Play" but cannot upload my turn agains livipajo in "The Donau Gap".

We will ping the Matrix crew when they return from holiday next week to see if this is a server issue more than a game code issue. It may also be an internet problem with the weather and other factors out there. Please keep us informed if things smooth out or get worse. Sorry for the issues, and hopefully, things will smooth out soon.

Ok apparently the DaShox game is somehow desynced. It showed the exact same turn as before but DaShox had probably uploaded a new turn. It's broken.

From my end, the status is: WAITING, last update was 12/29/2022 7:04:30am

Matrix crew should be back in the office Monday and we will be able to check with them on this issue.

This problem is back!

I know Rob has been working on this. Hopefully it will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

The current beta update has a recovery fix in it for these situations that will allow you to recover the file and then resubmit when the server is up, or transmission across the net is more stable.
