Possible Bug?

We are trying to start a new game against the AI.
When we turn on hard difficulty, the AI is supposed to get +25% Movement and +25% Combat.

But it seems the real players units could also move further (also +25%?). This makes it easier for the player, not harder...

Is this intended?

I would expect +0% Movement Allowance for the Non-AI player, as an increased MP strongly helps creating encirclements.

Thanks,
Hanno

No response?

I really think the AI handicap system does not work as intended.
Hard (and pssibly other difficulties, too) difficulty gives the AI movement advantages (as intended) and ALSO movement advantages to the Human player (not intended).
You could argue that Hard AI difficulty makes the game EASIER for the player as he ALSO gets +25% movement advantage - why?

Thanks for looking into this,
Hanno

I have noticed this a long time ago but forgot to report this. This is also true in PVP games. AI settings affects both players.
Here you can see max range of unit with normal AI setting and Challenging setting. Both screenshots are made from human vs human game. Same is for allied side

Yes this is quite a glitch. Apologies. Will be fixed (also for running games) in the upcoming new open beta for v106 !
