Is there a comprehensive listing of scenario mod's that are available and where they can be downloaded from ?

Relative to the WWII scenario's .....

Are most of these favor human vs AI ?
are there some that are best played pbem ?

I understand this is a broad question, but not really into playing the AI .... looking for pbem ....

Rather than asking someone to go through hundreds of scenarios and obtain an answer for you how about you do the research yourself?

People who typically respond too requests such as this are 1) designers or 2) experienced playing the scenarios they recommend. Guarantee you that no one is researching scenarios due to this request.

What scout1 could do is filter/search the forum for topics examining pbem play. I can’t point to a specific posting, but I do recall the subject being discussed.

Broadly speaking in answer to your question, most scenarios state if they are PBEM only (H2H) or against the AI only or both. However, those are just the recommendations from the scenario designer on how and why he created a particular scenario. You are free do play a scenario any way you want.

A few pbm games I’ve enjoyed are:
Serbia-Galicia 1914
Falklands War 1982
Two Weeks In Normandy
Blitzkrieg 1950 RBv02


The only problem I have with most scenarios is that the objectives are static. After a game or two the challenge/novelty wears off. For something different and player defined objectives, you might try:
Revisionist War 1937 v10
