Ports and depots - why no freight to depots?

I have no rail connection to Moscow or any other NSS. But I have set Baku and Machkala as import ports and they recieve freight. I have set them to prio 2 and no other port anywhere either import och export ports are above prio 2. But nothing is delivered by rail to my depot 4 in Divnoe or Kuschevskaya.

Why are there no freight delivered to these depots?

It's likely because of the lack of rail connection to an NSS. I'll have to check with Gary about that, but that would seem to be the reason. Ports do have an ability to generate freight from supplies and freight at the port, including what's being made in the port hex by factories (Batumi is a good example of this). So some of the ports will generate their own freight. But it does appear that rail shipments of freight are shut down in the areas that are not linked by rail to an NSS.

Well, I hope that is fixed because that should not be a problem, trains would still exist ina this kind och huge area.

Why Baku itself is not a NSS?

It was one of the main stages in the Persian corridor. Krasnovodsk is considered as "smaller".
