Can you use ammo in cargo on ships?

I have some ammo (12.7mm MG ammo and some ESSMs) loaded into a container on a T-AKE ship. Does anybody know if there's a way to use this ammo to rearm the T-AKE's own mounted weapons (with 12.7mm) or to move this ammo into the ship's magazine so that it can be used to UNREP a nearby DDG (with ESSMs)?
I'm still trying to figure out how the new cargo 2.0 features work with naval logistics so any help would be appreciated!
