Hello everyone

I'm having a problem with Northern Inferno Campaign.

Both the Briefing and Description windows of this campaign are taking a long time to load ( some 5 minutes and 3 minutes respectively).

All other campaigns such as Desert Storm, Red Tide and Shifting Sands work perfectly. With regards Silent Service had the same problem with the Description window, however, I removed the PNG file and now loads fine.

Would appreciate anyone's help

This is not something I was able to reproduce on my end.
So if I am understanding correctly it takes a very long time but the briefing ultimately loads successfully ?
By successfully I mean with text and pictures.

Since Northern Inferno Campaign is the only campaign with a png on its primary briefing and that you've noticed yourself the correlation with png and others campaign's missions, I'd assume Command has hard time loading the png on the hard drive, and is entangled into continuous exception logging.

Please post here the exception log (in the logs folder). I'll have a look.

Also try to run Command with admin rights, and perform a steam file integrity check of the game.

Precisely, ultimately the text and pictures appear.
I just loaded Beware of the Badger scenario, within this campaign and all together it took over 10 minutes to load. At first, a white window appears, eventually the map shows up. When I press load select, another white window appears and finally the briefing info appears. After that scenario runs fine.

I run this game as an administrator, but will do the integrity check again.

Which build/version are you using?

Build 1307.3, Version 1.05

sorry for the very late reply. But bought a VR headset and went on DCS and Il-2.

Yes unfortunately it is still an issue.

Even the MDSP Tutorials take a very long time to load before entering the scenarios.
