[RESOLVED] Help with Update

I need some help with an update issue, please.
I was running version 1.04.XXXX and clicked on the "update" button on the launcher. This sent me to the downloads page on the Slitherine website where I downloaded the 1.05.1307 installer.
When I ran the installer I was told that I had an incompatible version of CMO and that I needed to uninstall it, which I did. When I now run the 1.05.1307 installer, I am being told that I don't have the base game and can't install the update.
I planned on reinstalling the game but can't locate a DVD with CMO on it (I have my CMANO backup DVDs, but can't find one with CMO). I am able to access the Slitherine website and have access to my product keys, but can't find a link to download and reinstall the base game.
Any would be appreciated.

Did you get the two part installer for 1307?

Yes, downloaded both and extracted to a folder on my desktop. Ran the installer and got the message that I was running an incompatible version of CMO and that I needed to install it, which I did. Now the installer says I don't have the base game and won't do anything.

Meant to say I got a message that I needed to "uninstall" the base game, sorry.

For one thing, its not just an update. The 1307 two part installer is a completely new architecture for CMO so they want you to do an uninstall. Then install 1307. It should not only install using the already registered products for the uninstalled game, it should, at worst if it can't find those, let you install and run the registration process. Seems like something's being done out of order somewhere.
Since some of the nomenclature is critical, I'm going to ask some basic questions.
This isn't a new PC that you just copied CMO 1.04 over to?
CMO 1.04 was running with all DLCs recognized?
What is the name of the file you are selecting to start the CMO install?
What was the size of both files you downloaded?

This isn't a new PC that you just copied CMO 1.04 over to? No, same one I have been using for years.
CMO 1.04 was running with all DLCs recognized? Yes.
What is the name of the file you are selecting to start the CMO install? CMO-MultiSetup-v1.05.1307
What was the size of both files you downloaded? I have already unzipped the files and deleted them, but one was over 7 GB and the other was just under 7GB.
Since my last post I found my CMO backup file and am reinstalling it to see if that helps. Based on your last post it sounds like I am going to be prompted to uninstall it anyway, however.

You should be able to do a clean install with those two files. Thats why its very odd its saying you don't have the base game installed.

I figured it out. When I initially ran the update and was prompted to uninstall the base game, I used the Windows uninstaller via the control panel. I then ran the update again, which said I did not have the base game on my system.
After I reinstalled CMO I ran the update and noticed that it contains a button to uninstall the game. When I used this button to uninstall the base game, it automatically installed the update after the game was removed and everything was fine.
Hope this helps someone else.
