Hi
As AE doesn't have a tutorial i was wondering if there is any way the tutorial that came with the original game could be copied into AE
If so what needs to be copied
Thanks

No, not really. AE is based on WITP, but the scale is far different, and a lot of new oncepts were added that the old WITP tutorial wouldn't touch on.

Thankyou for this reply
But all i was asking was if it was possible to copy and paste the tutorial that came with the original WiTP into the AE version as that is what a tutorial should be like ie follow and play at the same time (hands on so to speak)
But thanks all the same

Yeah, wouldn't it be great to be able to play and get tutorial type hints about the interface at the same time! If you try out every button and hypertext switch you see on each info screen you will learn the interface soon enough. What takes longer is stringing together all the clicks you have to do for a big operation.
E.G., if you have to load a division of troops in a port too small to handle the number of ships needed you must remember to set "do not unload" on the first batch of ships loaded. When the division is all loaded you can combine all the ships in one TF but if the destination is the target, don't forget to set the destination before you remove the "do not unload" order!
Lots of sequencing clicks like that!

This is very important as Japan in the Grand campaign:
Make sure that you do not send any amphibious task force without a "Do Not Unload" order to any Soviet hex before the Soviets invade unless you really want to poke the Soviet bear. Stalin does NOT like rotten sushi.
