I am trying to cut out a piece of the master map vn_700101 DMZ, to make an A shau scn..

I have read the 8.22. 10 design tips, but am seriously challenged, I just cant get the gist of how to do this.

I would like coordinates 459,499 to 539,579 , that whole square cut out as the scn. map....I've tried the extent shift gismo
many times, cant figure but how to use it, I am not getting any of the map portion I'd like...

Do you do tut. for labeling?and for some reason, my compass will not show up...

The compass only shows up at certain zoom levels.

Since you made a new map, you'll have to reset its position.
