I want to get a new monitor will the game run nicely at 1440p or 4 K native resolution?

It looks and performs great on my 4K monitors. I do have a fairly powerful system with an RTX 3070ti graphics card.

Yep running nicely at 1440, I have a 3080ti card

It will. The game is mostly CPU bound, not relying on or doing much with the GPU.

And, yes, I'm biased, but I do think the game really shines at larger displays, something that you don't see much (as most people who stream games do so using 1080p resolution). Here it is with floating panels on a 5120x2160 screen, 125% display scaling.
