Hi not sure where to make this suggestion, but would love to see someone reach out to Amarillo Design Buruea about recreating their grand strategy game Federation & Empire into a computer based version. System has lots of depth modules and would make a great turn based sci fi strategy game in the same vein as World in Flames.

Something like Starfleet Command do you mean?

No Starlfeet Command is a good game and desrving of a refresh reboot, but its based on the single ship game starfleet battles. Federation & Empire is the grand strategic game.

Oh I see now, more a x4 strategy game in Star Trek universe. The license should be expensive to do this.

I think starship captain games are also missing. Things in 2D like Starflight is still my reference. No need of 3D to do a good game. If the combat rules of Starfleet Command could be combined in an exploration game like Starflight, I would be happy.

Reboot might not meet the expectations. Did Starfleet Command III meet your expectations? What about Panzer General 3D? Oh fine, Panzer Corps was a pleasant surprise. Maybe new Starfleet Command game could be too. Don't bet too much on it though.

I did a game called "StarShip Cqaptains" based loosy of the theme and on the boardgame SFB. its turn based, missiles , shuttles, Lasers, Energy alloxcation just like boardgame, but no one ever tried it out and tell people about it, I can dig it out if anybosdy is interested in doing a review?
